Most pillows are sold by squeeze. Ours are sold by weight.
In the shop, a pillow that is short on fibre can feel as full as one that is not. The difference shows up a few months later, when it goes flat. Fill weight is the number that tells you how much pillow you are buying, so we print it.

What is inside
Ball fibre: thousands of small springs.
Ordinary pillows are stuffed with loose fibre that mats into lumps. Ball fibre is siliconised hollow polyester rolled into small, slippery balls. Each one moves on its own, so the pillow shapes to your head, springs back when you lift it, and keeps its height for longer.

Care
Four habits, a fuller pillow.
- Fluff every morning
Push the short ends together a few times and give it a shake. The fibre balls separate and the pillow springs back to full height.
- Air in the sun monthly
An hour of sunshine on a dry day freshens the fibre and draws out moisture. Turn it over halfway.
- Gentle wash at 30°
Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30 °C with a mild detergent. Dry it completely before use.
- No bleach
Bleach weakens both the cotton shell and the fibre. Use a mild detergent only.

What is a ball fibre pillow?
A pillow filled with ball fibre: siliconised hollow polyester fibre rolled into small, slippery balls. Because each ball moves on its own, the pillow shapes to your head, springs back when you lift it, and resists the lumps that loose fibre forms. It is light, breathable and washable.
What does fill weight mean?
Fill weight is the weight of the fibre inside the pillow, without the shell. Total weight adds the cotton shell. Larkwell Cloud has 1,000 g of fill and weighs about 1,100 g in total; Larkwell Classic has 850 g of fill and weighs 1,000 g.
Which Larkwell pillow should I choose?
Choose Cloud if you like a plump, soft pillow that springs back. Choose Classic if you want steady, medium support that keeps your head level. Both suit side and back sleepers. If you sleep on your stomach, message us before you order and we will help you choose.
